The Championship

Welcome to the Third World Cube Association African Championship, set against the breathtaking backdrop of Camps Bay this coming September. This championship will bring together the fastest and most passionate cubers from across Africa and beyond.

With the mountains behind us and the ocean at our feet, we are proud to host a competition that reflects both the beauty of our continent and the talent of its people.

Let Africa shine.

Cape Town

Table Mountain National Park

A majestic flat-topped peak, Table Mountain dominates Cape Town’s skyline. With its iconic, breathtaking views, diverse flora, and easy access by cable car, this is a must-see for all visitors.

Victoria and Alfred Waterfront

A vibrant waterfront hub, Cape Town’s Victoria & Alfred Waterfront is a prime attraction in Cape Town with international brands for shopping, dining, entertainment, historic charm, and stunning harbor views.

Cape Point Nature Reserve

Cape Point falls within the southern section of Table Mountain National Park. The natural vegetation of the areas – fynbos – comprises the smallest but richest of the world’s six floral kingdoms. Rugged rocks and sheer cliffs towering more than 200 meters above the sea and cutting deep into the ocean provide a spectacular background for the park’s rich biodiversity. Visitors can take a ride on the Flying Dutchman funicular to the steps of the new lighthouse and look-out points above.

The famous Cape Winelands

The Cape Winelands are well known for their picturesque vineyards, world-class wines, charming towns, and exquisite cuisine. This is an area of scenic beauty, tasteful experiences, and rich history.

Whale watching in Hermanus

Hermanus, the world’s premier land-based whale watching spot, offers thrilling encounters with southern right whales which can often be seen from the shore. This charming town offers breathtaking coastal scenery and vibrant marine life as well as an excellent selection of sea-front restaurants and shopping opportunities.

Boulders Penguin Colony

Boulders Penguin Colony in Simon’s Town has become world famous for its thriving colony of African Penguins and magnificent wind sheltered, safe beaches. With its protected boardwalks, and stunning coastal scenery, this is a unique experience in Cape Town to get up close to the African penguins.

Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens

Kirstenbosch is acclaimed as one of the great botanical gardens in the world. Few gardens can match the sheer grandeur of the setting of Kirstenbosch, located against the eastern slopes of Cape Town’s Table Mountain. Visitors can explore a diverse range of trails through the gardens, enjoy the treetop walkway with its breathtaking views of the city, and explore the various art exhibitions throughout the gardens.
